In a beautiful, quiet part of Cornwall, just 20 metres from the beautiful sandy cove of Maenport, this newly built guest house offers attractive, contemporary accommodation and free Wi-Fi.

In a peaceful and secluded position, the Avalon Guest House is located on the Rosamund Pilcher route and the South West Coastal Path, just 3 miles (5 km) outside of Falmouth, along the coast road.

Avalon is a family-run guest house and your hosts, Arthur and Gail Shiers, pride themselves on offering the tailored personal service of a fine hotel combined with the warm, friendly welcome and relaxed atmosphere of a small guest house. Guests can also enjoy complimentary afternoon tea and cakes with their stay.

All of the en suite rooms are comfortable and attractive. Each room has tea/coffee, a mini-fridge, a hairdryer and a TV (some with Freeview digital channels). All rooms have individually controlled under-floor heating and an exclusive parking space, as well as use of the gardens, which have views of the beach and the sea.

Hotel information	The garden has comfortable seating areas from which you can enjoy the views or the open woods and the paths behind the house. The house has a lounge with comfortable sofas and a wood-burning stove, along with a large television and a selection of games and newspapers. Free private parking is available on site and there are facilities for storing motorcycles, bicycles and walking equipment.

Food & beverage

A full English breakfast is available every day and features locally sourced Cornish produce, with fish options also available. Breakfast also includes a variety of cereals, yoghurts, fresh fruit of the day and breads. Breakfast is served in the dining room, which has a patio overlooking the beach. The dining room is open during the afternoon for tea and homemade cakes. Packed lunches or picnic hampers are available on request. Tasty evening meals for groups are available by prior arrangement and for functions up to 40 guests.
